Ewenla Congratulates Adeleke on Re-election, Says Osun Voters Have Spoken

…As PDP Southwest Ex-Officio urges governor to strengthen development and accountability

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Southwest, Prince Amb. (Dr.) Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, has congratulated the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his victory in the governorship election held in the state on Saturday.

Ewenla, who is a PDP Southwest Ex-Officio, described Adeleke’s victory as a reflection of the confidence reposed in his administration by the people of Osun State.

In a congratulatory statement, Ewenla commended the people of Osun State for exercising their democratic rights and urged the governor to remain committed to good governance, accountability and the welfare of the people.

He said the victory had further demonstrated the importance of the ballot box in determining the direction of governance, urging the governor to use his renewed mandate to consolidate the achievements of his administration and advance the development of the state.

The PDP chieftain also commended other candidates who participated in the election for contributing to the democratic process, while urging all stakeholders to support peace and unity in the state following the outcome of the poll.

Ewenla expressed confidence that Governor Adeleke would use his second term to deepen development across Osun State, improve the lives of residents and strengthen the PDP’s presence in the state.

He wished Governor Adeleke a successful second term in office, assuring him of the support and goodwill of PDP members and stakeholders across the Southwest.
