The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has approved the appointment of key officials to coordinate his campaign organisation ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

The appointments were announced in a statement issued on Tuesday in Ibadan by the campaign organisation, describing the move as part of preparations to strengthen the campaign structure across the state.
According to the statement, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle has been appointed as the Coordinator of the Campaign Organisation, while Hon. Olayemi Olugbenga will serve as the Deputy Coordinator.

The statement also named Hon. Kazeem Adesile Adedeji as the Director of Administration and Secretary of the Campaign Organisation. He is expected to oversee administrative operations and ensure effective coordination and communication within the campaign team.

To strengthen grassroots mobilisation across the state’s geopolitical zones, the campaign organisation announced the appointment of zonal coordinators. Hon. Remi Sodiq will coordinate campaign activities in Ibadan City, while Hon. Femi Akintunde will oversee Ibadan Outer City.

Also appointed are Hon. Oladimeji Dauda Wasiu for Oke-Ogun I, Hon. Samuel Okunlade for Oke-Ogun II, Hon. Bashir Akanbi for Ogbomoso Zone, Hon. Kazeem Isiaka Arole for Oyo Zone, and Hon. Habeeb Ibrahim for Ibarapa Zone.

The campaign organisation said the appointments are aimed at enhancing grassroots mobilisation, improving coordination, and ensuring effective engagement with stakeholders across Oyo State as preparations intensify for the 2027 governorship election.

It urged all the appointees to discharge their responsibilities with diligence and commitment while mobilising support for Senator Alli’s governorship aspiration, expressing confidence that the campaign structure would position the party for success at the polls.
