Aboderin Salutes ‘Scorpion’ Over Victory Over Japanese’s Fukunaga

The scribe of Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC), Remi Aboderin has described the unanimous victory of the Nigeria’s Ridwan ‘Scorpion’ Oyekola in the far away Japan against Hikaru Fukunaga as a respectable results.
Scorpion won on the scorecards of the three judges with unanimous decisions of 77-75, 78-75, 78-75 at the early hours of Sunday in an international challenge bout at Ishikawa Multipurpose Dome, Uruma, Okinawa in Japan.
Aboderin, who doubles as the President of West African Boxing Union (WABU) in his reaction after the bout saluted the Ibadan born boxer for presentating all Nigerians a sweet boxing Independent gift with his victory in far away Japan.
Speaking after the fight, Oyekola also dedicated his victory to all Nigerians who are in the Independent celebration mood and his teeming fans that have been supporting him with prayers.
“I’m happy to record another consecutive victory here in Japan against worthy opponents, the two boxers I have faced here are not pushover, but top fighters in their respective States here in Japan.
“And that is why I’m dedicating this victory to all Nigerians who are in the nation’s independent mood, and my manager, coaches and loved ones that are supporting me with prayers”, said Scorpion.
