…As New platform enables public to report misconduct, submit feedback, and hold traffic officials accountable

In a move aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability, the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA) has launched a new Online Public Complaint Channel, enabling residents to report grievances, provide feedback, and submit suggestions regarding the conduct of its personnel.

The platform, which can be accessed via https://complaint.oyrtma.com, allows users to file reports either anonymously or with disclosed identities. This ensures ease of reporting while safeguarding the confidentiality of complainants.

Speaking on the initiative in a statement made available to the press in Ibadan, the Executive Chairman of OYRTMA, Major Adekoya Adesagba (rtd), described the platform as a step forward in the agency’s drive for improved service delivery.

“This platform empowers the public to hold OYRTMA personnel accountable while providing us with valuable feedback to enhance our operations,” Adesagba said. “Every complaint will be treated with urgency and confidentiality.”

Key features of the new complaint channel include the ability to:

Report misconduct by OYRTMA officials;

Submit reports by OYRTMA officials;

Submit reports anonymously or with identification;

Access a secure and user-friendly interface.

OYRTMA has urged all residents, motorists, and stakeholders across Oyo State to actively make use of the new system in order to foster a more efficient and professional traffic management environment.
