Nigeria at 66: Aleshinloye Urges Nigerians to Embrace Patriotism, Renewed Hope

The Federal Character Commissioner representing Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, MDII, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 66th Independence Anniversary, urging citizens to remain patriotic and committed to building a greater Nigeria.
In a statement released to the journalists through his media aide, Oladiipo Adegoke, Prince Aleshinloye, a former Oyo State ALGON Chairman and former Oluyole Local Government Chairman, acknowledged the sacrifices of past leaders, stressing that their efforts must not be allowed to be in vain.
He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as achievements recorded under the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that the Federal Government has identified economic stability, growth and shared prosperity as key priorities of its reform programme that the policies of the administration are aimed at laying a solid foundation for the future.
According to him, the current administration’s policies should be given the opportunity to deliver their intended benefits, particularly for young Nigerians and future generations.
He appealed to Nigerians to rally around the President and support efforts to reposition the country, stressing that the future of generations yet unborn must not be mortgaged.
Aleshinloye urged Nigerians to reject practices that undermine the nation’s collective future and peace, stressing that political differences should not be allowed to supersede the larger interest of Nigeria.
“At 66, we must all ask ourselves what we can do for Nigeria. The greatness of our nation is a collective responsibility, and we must protect the future of generations yet unborn.” he said
The Federal Commissioner urged Nigerians to embrace peace, unity, patriotism and hard work, while contributing positively to national development.
He prayed for peace, economic stability, unity and sustainable development across Nigeria and wished all Nigerians a happy 66th Independence Anniversary.
