Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organization Commences Zonal Town Hall Meetings
The Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organization invited you this afternoon as part of our media routine, to update you on the activities of our campaign particularly the ongoing nationwide consultation and grassroot mobilization to ensure the victory of our Presidential Candidate, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde and his running mate, Alh. Lawal Daura on the platform of our great Party, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
As we continue with our consultation and mobilization, it is imperative to through you, inform Nigerians that we have commenced our scheduled Town hall meetings for broad-based citizen and stakeholder engagement slated to hold in the six geo-political zones across the country.
The Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Zonal town hall meetings have been scheduled to commence with the North West zone on Tuesday, 22nd September, 2026 in Katsina, the Katsina State Capital.
On Friday, 25th September, 2026 the Campaign will move to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State for the South South Zonal Town hall meeting.
On Monday, 28th September, 2026, the Campaign will move to Lafia, Nasarawa State for the North Central Town hall meeting, while we end the month of September with the South East Zonal Town hall meeting in Enugu, Enugu State on Wednesday, 30th September, 2026
Our engagements in the other zones will be communicated to Nigerians in due course.
The Zonal town hall meetings will be issue-based and citizen-driven. It will center on critical issues of national importance especially those touching directing on the stability of the nation and the wellbeing of all its citizens.
Our Presidential candidate is renowned for his strong affinity and bond with Nigerians, irrespective of class, ethnicity and creed. Our campaign belongs to the people. Our message is to Reset Nigeria to a nation that truly works for all.
We are set to Reset Nigeria to a nation where leaders are accessible, accountable and service-driven; where the resources of the nation are transparently applied for the good of all; where the hard work and resourcefulness of citizens are valued and where their views respected.
The Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign message of Reset Nigeria is resonating across the country. Our campaign has become a grassroot movement gaining an unprecedented upswing momentum and reputation as the fastest growing political movement ahead of the 2027 Presidential election
Since the emergence of Governor Seyi Makinde as the Presidential candidate of the APM, with the agenda to Reset our nation, Nigerians from all across the country have continued to show solidarity, support and outpouring of goodwill while also mobilizing extensively across communities for our party and candidates.
This solidarity and support by Nigerians have been manifest in recent off-cycle elections and bye-elections, the latest being the victory of the APM in the Bauchi State House of Assembly bye-election at the weekend.
Our Campaign uses this opportunity to invite Nigerians to Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign townhall meetings while also thanking all citizens for their solidarity as we work hard to ensure the victory of the APM and Engr. Makinde in the 2027 Presidential election.
