The Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board (HMB), Dr. Akin Fagbemi, has congratulated renowned security expert, Mr. Abayomi Fagbenro, on his appointment as the Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Security Matters.
Dr. Fagbemi described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Fagbenro’s vast experience, professionalism, and commitment to security administration, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver effectively in his new role.

According to Dr. Fagbemi, Fagbenro is a seasoned security expert affiliated with the Department of Defense, Army Network Enterprise Centre, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, United States of America.
He also received military training at Great Lakes, Illinois, Chicago, experiences which have equipped him with the technical expertise and leadership capacity needed for the assignment.
The OYSHMB Chairman expressed optimism that the newly appointed Special Adviser would justify the confidence reposed in him by contributing significantly to efforts aimed at maintaining peace, security, and stability across Oyo State.
Dr. Fagbemi also used the opportunity to express profound gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for granting him the ticket to represent the Ibadan Southwest/Northwest Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
