Makinde’s Loyalist,Akin Fagbemi Secures International Appointment As Visiting Senior Research Scientist in Kigali, Rwanda
One of the best performing aides of Governor Seyi Makinde and the Executive Chairman Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA), Mogaji Akin Fagbemi has been offered an appointment as a visiting research scientist at Foresight Institute of Research and Translation in Rwanda.
Dr Fagbemi, who was before his appointment as OYRTMA DG, was a top Regulatory Scientist with NAFDAC for almost 2 decades before joining politics as a Food and Drug Safety expert with research intrest in Food safety and Metagenomic analysis both locally and internationally. Last year, he was made a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Food Science and Technology, a Chartered Institute of Nigerian Food Scientists.
A copy of the appointment letter obtained by Goalpoacher News, dated April 22, was signed and issued by Kudirat Adedeji, the Managing Director/Acting Director, TED, FIRAT Africa Programs Ambassador, Director of Finance.
