Oluyole agog as PDP holds maiden local government meeting after the primary election

The Oluyole Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) today held her first local government meeting with a mammoth crowd of party members jubilating over steps taken by the leadership of PDP in Oluyole LG in resolving satisfactorily issues that arose after the just concluded party primary election.

In his speech, the Chairman of Oluyole PDP, Adegbola Mukaila, expressed satisfaction with the massive support that the Oluyole PDP House of Representatives Candidate, Hon Mojeed Olawale Mogbonjubola (Jagaban), and Oluyole PDP House of Assembly Candidate, Hon Waheed Akintayo Ilumoka Presenter, are enjoying from party members and leaders across the ten(10) wards in Oluyole LG.

The Executive Chairman of Oluyole LG, Hon. Settle Olaide, in his address assured party members of more dividends of democracy as his administration will always put the welfare of PDP members and the general public a top priority in line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s welfare policy.

While receiving Dr. Laolu Adepoju into PDP, the Oyo State PDP Publicity Secretary, Engr Akeem Olatunji II, assured Dr. Adepoju of a level playing ground as there is no founder nor joiner in today’s PDP under Governor Seyi Makinde.

Engr Akeem Olatunji thereby urged party members not to relent despite the growing popularity of Governor Seyi Makinde and PDP in Oyo State as it is imperative to maintain the party’s domineering status in Oluyole politics which has dwarfed both APC and Accord Party combined.

The high point of the meeting was the resolve of Oluyole PDP leaders to judge every leader, political appointees, elected representatives, and party executive at various levels with the results of elections in their various polling booths and wards.

Present at the local government meeting were functionaries of Oluyole local government including the Vice Chairman of Oluyole LG, Hon Ayoade Olatunde, Special Assistant to the Governor on Oluyole Federal Constituency, Hon. Olumide Akinlade, leaders, stakeholders and party executives.
