Makinde Daura South-West Campaign Coordinator, Dr Olafeso, Visits Chief Bode George, Mama Bucknor-Akerele, Maina, Oshodi and Others in Lagos

The South-West Campaign Coordinator of the Makinde Daura Presidential Campaign Council, Olorogun Dr Eddy Olafeso, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Atona Oodua and former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, and other prominent leaders in Lagos.

The leaders included Mama Onikepo Oshodi, Madam Kofo Bucknor-Akerele and Mama Aduke Maina, among others.

Dr Olafeso, who was accompanied by the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) governorship candidate in Lagos, Laja Adeoye, said the visit was to touch base with the leaders as Governor Seyi Makinde, the APM presidential candidate, prepares to kick off campaign activities in the region. According to him, the leadership engagement is a continuous process, which will leave no leader out of the consultations across the region.

Governor Makinde has continued to rally both the APM and PDP blocs across the country around his RESET Nigeria agenda, which he presents as an alternative political movement for Nigerians seeking a change of government in 2027.

He has held town hall meetings in various regions, consulting leaders, stakeholders and other Nigerians so they can take part in the 2027 electioneering process and help elect him as the next President of Nigeria.

Chief Bode George, like other leaders in Lagos, received Olorogun Eddy Olafeso warmly. He described Governor Makinde as courageous in his pursuit of greater leadership for Nigerians, and commended his efforts at turning Oyo State into a modern city and fixing its economy. Chief Mrs Aduke Maina as posited by other leaders said that if Makinde could fix Oyo State and turn it into a world class city with people’s oriented projects and infrastructures, he could RESET Nigeria within a short period, urging Nigerians to give him a chance to fix the rot in the economy.
