APM Affirms Adebisi as House of Representatives Candidate for Saki West/Saki East/Atisbo Federal Constituency

The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) in Oyo State has affirmed Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi as the party’s House of Representatives candidate for Saki West/Saki East/Atisbo Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general election.

Adebisi, the immediate former Commissioner for Trade and Commerce in Oyo State, emerged following the party’s primary election and affirmation exercise conducted across the three local government areas within the constituency.

Party stakeholders disclosed that the affirmation process followed an earlier consensus arrangement reached among party leaders and stakeholders across the federal constituency.

His nomination was subsequently affirmed by the APM chairmen in Saki West, Saki East and Atisbo local government areas in the presence of party executives, stakeholders and supporters.

The exercise, monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), party leaders and delegates, was described as peaceful, transparent and orderly, reflecting growing unity and internal cohesion within the party ahead of the 2027 general election.

Speaking shortly after the affirmation, Adebisi expressed appreciation to the leadership of the party, delegates, stakeholders, youths, women groups and supporters for the confidence reposed in him.

He described the affirmation as a collective mandate and a call to greater service for the people of Saki West, Saki East and Atisbo Federal Constituency.

According to him, the people of the constituency deserve quality representation, purposeful leadership and sustainable development capable of improving their standard of living.

“This moment marks the beginning of a renewed journey towards inclusive governance, people-oriented representation and progressive development across our federal constituency. Together, we shall build a stronger voice for our people at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly,” he said.

Adebisi assured residents that youth empowerment, agricultural development, economic growth, educational support, improved healthcare delivery, infrastructural development and security advocacy would form key priorities of his legislative agenda if elected.

He also stressed the importance of unity within the party, calling on stakeholders, party members and supporters to work together towards achieving victory in the 2027 elections.

The APM candidate further pledged to remain accessible, accountable and committed to the welfare and progress of the people of the constituency.
