PDP Unanimously Selects Oyo State for 2025 Convention

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially selected Oyo State as the host of its 2025 National Convention, scheduled to take place in November.

The decision was reached unanimously during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held today, Abuja.

The choice of Oyo as host state marks a significant recognition of the state’s growing influence within the PDP and underscores the strategic importance of the South West in the party’s roadmap toward the 2027 general elections.

Governor Seyi Makinde, a prominent figure in the party’s national leadership, has been named the Chief Host of the convention.
