APM Lagos Congratulates Gov. Makinde On His Emergence As The Presidential Candidate Of The Allied People’s Movement

The Lagos State chapter of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) heartily congratulates the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, on his emergence as the Presidential Candidate of our great party.

In a statement issued by the Lagos State Chairman of the party, Mrs. Adeyemo, and conveyed through the State Publicity Secretary, the party described Governor Makinde’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of exemplary leadership, competence, and proven capacity.

Governor Makinde’s remarkable transformation of Oyo State since assuming office in 2019 stands as a testament to what purposeful leadership can achieve.

Despite limited resources, his administration has delivered significant infrastructural development, expanded economic opportunities, and increased the state’s Internally Generated Revenue without imposing excessive tax burdens on the people.

His governance model has demonstrated that development and fiscal responsibility can coexist while prioritizing the welfare of citizens.

As a party, we are mindful of the current security challenges confronting Oyo State and commend the proactive measures being taken by Governor Makinde and relevant security agencies.

We join millions of Nigerians in praying for the safe and speedy reunion of the kidnapped schoolchildren and their teachers with their families.
