Akin Oke Submits Oyo EXCO List

The Caretaker chairman, Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Akin Oke has submitted a harmonised list of the would-be State Executive (State Excos) members to the National Secretariat of the party, Abuja.
The move was in line with an earlier directive by the National Secretary of the Party Senator John Akpan during a stakeholders meeting which held with leaders of the party following crisis that rocked the party after a controversial state congress held on October 30.
The Chairman of the State Congress Committee, Lawan Gambo was no where in sight at the party Secretariat as Chief Akin Oke delivered the list.

The move it was gathered put to rest the controversy trailing the authenticity of the October 30 state congress which produced Mr Isaac Omodewu as Chairman.
Visibly elated Chief Oke presented the list to the National Secretary, Senator Akpan in the presence of some party chieftains.
Recall that, the National Secretariat had directed that 11 leaders of the party in Oyo State including Ex-Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, two former deputies governor, Chief Iyiola Oladokun, Chief Moses Alake-Adeyemo, Seven Zonal leaders and Caretaker Chairman, Chief Oke were mandated to midwife a harmonised list that is acceptable to all the stakeholders.
