Obasa’s Imperial Attitude Led to Impeachment -APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Fouad Oki, during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, has shed more light on the impeachment of Hon. Mudashiru Obasa by the members of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

When he was talking during the interview, he said that Honourable Mudashiru Obasa’s excesses were tabled before the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) several times and both the impeached Speaker and the Governor were invited to different meetings to settle the rift between them but on several occasions, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa showed that he was not interested and was carrying himself like an emperor in the state.

He said, “So when the president got home in the wisdom of the leadership of the GAC, the president’s attention was called, where he tried to make a sense out of the observation raised by the elders of the party. So, he called a meeting but unfortunately, Tinubu saw a recalcitrant and I think that was what broke the camel’s back.”
