NACJ Felicitates Christians on Christmas

The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ), Oyo State Chapter, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christians across the state and the nation.

The association emphasised the significance of this festive season as a time for reflection, unity, and hope.

In a statement issued on behalf of the chairman of the association, Com. ‘Lekan Sobo Sobowale, by the Public Relations Officer, Com. Adeola Badru, it was noted that Christmas serves as a reminder of the birth of Jesus Christ and the message of love, peace, and goodwill.

The statement reads: “As we celebrate this sacred occasion, let us remember the true essence of Christmas, the joy of giving, compassion for one another, and the importance of community.”

The NACJ encouraged Christians to embrace the spirit of the season by reaching out to those in need.

“In this season of joy, let us not forget our brothers and sisters who are less fortunate. It is our duty as Christians to share our blessings and bring comfort to those who are struggling,” Sobowale emphasized.

Furthermore, the association called on Christians to renew their commitment to faith and service, adding that: “Christmas is an opportunity for us to reflect on our faith and to recommit ourselves to the teachings of Christ. Let us strive to be beacons of light in our communities, spreading love and kindness.

The association, however, concluded by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

“May this season bring joy, peace, and hope to all. Together, let us build a future filled with love and understanding,” Sobowale remarked.
