The Office of the Wife of the Governor of Oyo State has debunked the rumour making the rounds, of the Chairman of the Oyo State Road Management Agency (OYSROMA), Mr. Busoye Ogunlade, disrespecting the wife of the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde.
The Office of the Wife Of the Governor of Oyo State released a statement in response to the news published by WisdomNewsNGR, stating that the news platform failed to reveal the true picture of the event that occurred yesterday.
According to the statement, the incident took place on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the launch of Pacesetter Transport Services Interstate Movement and PTS Express services at Eleyele, Ibadan.
The First Lady of Oyo State was invited to the event and arrived before Mr. Busoye Ogunlade.
When Mr. Ogunlade arrived, he was not aware of the presence of the First Lady, among the dignitaries at the high table, among whom was the Hon. Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Faosat Sanni.
However, when an attendee drew his attention to the oversight, Mr. Ogunlade promptly apologized to those at the high table by prostrating to them, including the First Lady.
