For How Long Have You Been In Music Industry and Like How Many Artistes Have You Worked With?

I have been in this game professionally for over a decade now and I have worked with the likes of Jaywon, Durella, and Danny Young, some years back I was privileged to participate in a musical video of D’Banj. My number one role model is D’Banj, but I love to work with Tiwa Savage, she’s very good, Don Jazzy is another great asset in the industry, I wll like to work with him if i have the opportunity, of course I will like to work with my number one role model D’Banj because he has a have positive energy and he knows his crafts, I also look forward to work with any artistes that knows his onions too so we can bring out the best in us for listening pleasures of our audience.

What Is Your Perception About People’s Opinions That Artist That Reside Outside Lagos State Might Not Likely Make It Big In The Industry?

It depends on the artist, that is why I said earlier that we needs to be good at what we are doing, irrespective of where we reside, or where we reside or where our location is, as an artist your talent will surely speaks for you, if people knows that you’re good they will definitely want to associate with you, for instance the likes of Duncan Mighty, Jeremiah Gyang and many others that became successful in this industry were not based in Lagos before they became world wide known artistes, I can’t say for now maybe they’ve relocated, but the last time I checked they were still in their cities where fame and fortune located them, and they’re still doing so well, we have many of them like that, moreso the world we are now is a global village where people from far and wide can be closer to you with the help of social media. All you need is to be good at what you’re doing, Though I’m not disputing the fact that Lagos state is an entertainment hub when we talk about music industry in Nigeria but I still have these feelings that music is beyond ordinary, it’s spiritual and irrespective of where you are fame and fortune will surely find you, music travels far, even more than we the musicians.

Your Advise To Upcoming Artistes, And Music Producers

A music artist must be able to distinguished himself from others, for God gave us unique talents and once you discovered that talent in you, one need to work hard to turn it into a fruitful means of livelihood, because through our talents we will seat and dine with the kings and queens, even including the mighty ones in our society, and as for producers, it is time for producers to start treating the artistes well, I have had series of bad experiences with so many producers, it is so painful, at a point I think I had to start my own record label, I’ve had a bad experience with a record label before and I’ll say to every record label companies, If you’re not up to the task to help an artiste, don’t waste their career and time, this is the more reason I’ve been trying to work out things on my own. So for now I have Davidainojadu, Kakamba, Cool Rhythm as my team members and we are doing so well, I really appreciate them for their support and dedication to my project.
