… As Recruitment Aims to Fill 900 Officer Positions Across Over 60 Cadres

The Oyo State Civil Service Commission has disclosed that out of the Ongoing recruitment process in the commission 22,235 applications submitted to the state government job portal 15,000 applicants, 67 percent have qualified for recruitment into the applied cadres and divided into two groups for competence examination.

This was revealed by the Chairman of The Civil Service Commission Alhaji Kamoru Aderibigbe during a press conference held at the commission, Secretariat, Ibadan.

Aderibigbe announced that announcd thst Applicants seeking employment into different cadres will commence their Computer-Based Text (CBT) on Monday, November 25th, and Tuesday, November 26, and November 28 at Arch. Bamidele Samson CBT Center and the Distance Learning CBT Center.

He hinted that the recruitment process aims to fill 900 officer positions across over 60 cadres in the mainstream of the Civil Service.

The chairman emphasized that applicants must adhere to the examination schedule and guidelines, appealing to applicants to be good ambassadors of their families.

He advised applicants to arrive at the examination centers on time, with printed copies of their application forms and invitation slips noting that The CBT questions will be cadres related, with similar cadres group led together.

Aderibigbe encouraged applicants continue checking their emails and the state government portal for updates.

The chairman expressed his gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for the opportunity to employ thousands of youths and lift them out of poverty.

Recall that the current administration, had previously recruited personnel on a cadre basis, with instances including 60 Environmental Health personnel in 2020 in 2020 and Education Officers in the same here.
