OYO APC: AGAIN, THE DESTABILIZATION SYNDROME?- By Mobolaji Oladepo

Prominent OYO elites and Members of APC were at the press conference held at the premier hotel yesterday. They opined that the current destabilization within APC refered to at the press conference as being orchestrated by ” a serving Senator and a former Governor”. was a dangerous trend that portends trouble for the party and it’s fortunes going forward.

But how these two and an unapproved former commissioner hope to get away with the “murder” of the Congress remains to be seen.
I am by no means casting aspersions at anyone but only echoing the state of mind of the press conference conveners

The kangaroo Congress supposedly given the greenlight by APC HQ is an invitation for failure and it’s famous cousin called chaos. I am sure the opposition would be in church today for thanksgiving.

If the central committee of the APC does not uphold it’s reported cancellation of the Congress published by TVC before the mushroom Congress was hurriedly put together at the Liberty Stadium, without the party Secretariat in presence and 90% of delegates and party members, trouble is looming and it ought to be averted. The central committee supervised the rejected “bastardised lists” and it’s yet to be sorted. The “6 Oke Ogun” CHAIRMANship contestants have yet to be sorted through consensus and have been fixed to be elected at the Congress. But the Abuja team’s behaviour about these outlined issues smirks of heavy handedness. And that singular error of being an unfair umpire has shown up the central committee as being in cahoots with the organizers of the kangaroo Congress. OYO will not accept imposed leaders. And so the Centre may have started singing APCs Nunc Dimitis, if it does not stand up to do the right thing immediately to rescue this ugly scenario. Righteousness exalts a nation. To be forewarned they say is to be forearmed.

The Press conference was attended by Chief Ayoade Adeseun and the Unity Forum, Chief Akintola SAN represented by Chief Oyekunle Esquire, Chief Adelabu, Chief Tegbe and many other gubernatorial, Senatorial and other political office aspirants. We also had group leaders and party delegates.
