OYSHMB Conducts Interview for Applicants Who Scored 60% Above

The Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board has begun the interview of Medical Officers into various cadres ranging from Medical Doctors, Dental Officers, Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Technicians.
The interview was conducted at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Health, Secretariat Ibadan.
The Chairman of Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board (OYSHMB), Dr. Akin Fagbemi said the Oyo state Governor Engr Oluseyi Makinde approved the recruitment of Medical Health Officers into the health sector to fill the vacuum left behind by those that either retired or moved abroad to seek greener pastures.
Dr. Fagbemi also said the recruitment of Medical Officers started with Multiple Choice Questions test conducted for the candidates at the Lead City University, Ibadan, and having met with the requirement mark which is 60% and above.
He therefore wished the candidates the best of luck and advised them to organize themselves in front of the interviewers.
The recruitment process is aimed at improving the healthcare delivery system in Oyo State, and the selected candidates will be deployed to various hospitals across the state.
The OYSHMB Chairman emphasized that the recruitment is transparent and based on merit, and candidates are advised to avoid any form of malpractice.
The interview panel consists of experienced healthcare professionals who will assess the candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience.
The successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive training program to equip them with the necessary skills to provide quality healthcare services.
