Eidul-mawlid Nabiy: De-Damak Felicitates with Muslims

As Muslims all over the world celebrate this year’s Maolud Nabiy, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola, has charged Muslims in Nigeria to focus more on activities that can engender unity, peace, and Nation-building rather than fueling the ember of discord and disunity as the Nation is going through a moment of trial in her existence.
The Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, in his message, urged Nigerians to pick salient lessons from the life and times of Prophet Mohammed, show strong will, and commitment to see the country through this trying period and come out stronger as a Nation.
Aare musulmi of Yorubaland,Edo and Delta on the significance of Eid-ul-Mawlid anchored on love, sacrifice, obedience, tolerance and charity, as exemplified by the deeds and teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad, is germane to the peaceful co-existence, unity and prosperity of Nigeria.
He further urged Muslim faithfuls across the country to use the occasion to retrace their steps into the culture of moral discipline of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
Aare Musulmi of Yorubaland called on all Nigerians to renew their faith in God and intensify prayers for the country to surmount its challenges.
He charged Nigerian leader to ensure the country is at peace as gathering of politicking steam.
