Land dispute: Mogaji Oladoja denies suspension by Olubadan

Mogaji of Akinsola family, Chief Olawale Oladoja has denied of being suspended by the Olubadan of Ibadanland and called for the peaceful resolution between the residents and Akinsola family.

Mogaji Akinsola made the reaction based on the statement of suspension from the palace of Olubadan today over the crisis of forceful eviction of the residents of Alaja Phase One, Alaja Phase Two, Isagunna and Aponmode.

Meanwhile, Chief Oladoja, has however, apologized to the first class monarch for the way the exercise turned out in a statement.

“I want to sincerely tender my honest apology to our Baba for the way the whole efforts of carrying out the court judgement turned out.

“I also thanked our revered Kaabiyesi, Olubadan for his fatherly role in all that happened and his timely intervention.”

“I also apologize to members of Olubadan in Council for all that trailed the crisis. “

“I also commends everyone who had shown concern in the misunderstanding and we hope, the issue will soon be resolved.”

Mogaji Oladoja added that the family is committed to peace and development across Ibadanland and its environs.

He said “Yes the issues will surely be resolved, since His royal Majesty have come in.
“Am hearing  the news of the suspension for the first time atleast this is my bead and wear it today to the palace of the Olubadan, am hearing the news from you now.

“Since we are leaving in the same community, it is compulsory for all of us to work together for the development of the state, we still have a meeting to hold to solve the issues.

“Because all the residents of the communities are Yoruba’s and we will resolved it.

“As I leave here now, as directed by His Royal Majesty am going back to Moniya now to have a peace meeting with them.

“Am calling for the cooperation of the residents of the four communities with the Akinsola family, we must leave together in peace according to the directive giving to us at the palace, according to Olubadan says ‘Peace Must Reign’
