NIESV Oyo State Committee of Fellows Honours Alhaja Wuraola-Tijani Bukola Monsurat with Distinguished Recognition Award

The Committee of Fellows of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Oyo State Branch, has honoured Alhaja Wuraola-Tijani Bukola Monsurat, FNIVS, with a prestigious Award of Recognition in appreciation of her exceptional service as Secretary of the Committee of Fellows during the 2024–2026 administration.

The award was presented on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Committee’s glamorous Fellows’ Dinner, an event that brought together distinguished professionals, government officials, and eminent personalities to celebrate excellence, leadership, and outstanding contributions to the estate surveying and valuation profession.

According to the Committee of Fellows, the award recognizes Alhaja Wuraola-Tijani’s selfless, tireless, dedicated, and progressive service, as well as her unwavering commitment to advancing the goals and activities of the Committee throughout her tenure.

Her remarkable administrative competence, professionalism, and ability to foster unity and collaboration among members were cited as key factors that earned her the distinguished honour.

Alhaja Wuraola-Tijani, a respected Senior Personnel Management Officer and Director of the Estate Department, Oluyole Local Government, Ibadan, has built an enviable reputation for integrity, diligence, accountability, and excellence in public service.

Over the years, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, effective organizational skills, and a strong passion for professional development, earning the admiration and respect of colleagues within and outside the institution.

Her contributions to the Committee of Fellows extended beyond routine administrative responsibilities.

She played a pivotal role in coordinating committee activities, strengthening institutional cohesion, promoting effective communication among Fellows, and ensuring the successful implementation of several initiatives that enhanced the Committee’s impact during the 2024–2026 administration.

The colourful ceremony attracted an array of top dignitaries from government and the professional community. Among those in attendance were the Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Niyi Akorede; the Oyo State Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Mr. William Akin-Funmilayo; as well as several Permanent Secretaries, senior government officials, Fellows of the Institution, and other distinguished guests.
