Alimosho PDP Closes Ranks, Endorses Ewenla’s Reps Bid

…As Party leaders and Stakeholders vow unity, stronger structure, electoral victory

The Alimosho Local Government Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reaffirmed its unity and declared unwavering support for its House of Representatives candidate, Dr. Adedipe Ewenla, following a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held at his campaign office.

The statement which was released and signed by the PDP Alimosho Local Government Publicity Secretary, Comrade Odiwey Anthony, reiterated the party’s commitment to grassroots mobilisation and maintaining a united front ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting which brought together members of the Alimosho PDP Local Government Executive Committee, Ward Chairmen, Women Leaders, Youth Leaders, party stakeholders and supporters from across the council area.

Also in attendance were House of Assembly aspirants, Hon. Adeleke and Hon. Philips, whose participation, according to the party, reflected the growing unity and shared commitment within its ranks.

The stakeholders said the meeting focused on strengthening the party’s structure, fostering internal cohesion and preparing for future electoral contests, stressing that the PDP in Alimosho remains united and committed to delivering effective representation for the people.

The gathering also reaffirmed confidence in Dr. Ewenla as the party’s House of Representatives candidate, describing him as a competent and accessible leader dedicated to the welfare of constituents.

Addressing party members, Dr. Ewenla said, “It is the one who carries glory that attracts battles,” noting that challenges confronting the party had only strengthened its resolve and unity.

He urged members to remain focused and committed to the party’s objectives, adding that collective efforts would ensure victory and the realization of the aspirations of the people of Alimosho.
