Adedipe Ewenla Declares for Alimosho Reps Seat

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Prince (Amb.) Dr. Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, has formally declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Alimosho Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
Ewenla, a native of Abule Egba in Alimosho, made his declaration in a letter addressed to party leaders, stakeholders, executives, and residents of the constituency.
He described himself as a “son of the soil” with deep-rooted ties to the community and a long-standing commitment to grassroots development.
Highlighting his familiarity with the constituency, Ewenla stated that his knowledge of the area positions him to deliver tangible results.
“This constituency is not a map to me; it is home,” he said, emphasizing his readiness to address local challenges effectively.
The aspirant pointed to his previous roles in public service, including his membership of the Lagos State Disciplinary Committee and his position as PDP South-West Zonal Ex-Officio.According to him, these roles reflect his track record of integrity, loyalty, and dedication to party principles.
Ewenla also stressed his unwavering allegiance to the PDP, noting that he has never supported any opposition party.
He described his political journey as one defined by discipline, consistency, and service.
Outlining what sets him apart from other contenders, Ewenla said his record speaks louder than promises.
He added that his consistent presence during critical moments in the constituency demonstrates his commitment to the people of Alimosho.
The PDP chieftain further argued that the constituency needs a representative with deep grassroots connections rather than individuals disconnected from local realities.
He described himself as “tested and trusted” at community, state, and regional levels.
Beyond politics, Ewenla highlighted his philanthropic efforts through the Adedas Development Foundation, which he said has delivered community-focused initiatives without government support.
These include free computer training programmes, youth empowerment schemes, medical outreach services, and educational support such as sponsorship of examination fees for indigent students.
Professionally, Ewenla is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Adedas and Company Global Services Ltd and Adedas Security Limited, with expertise spanning real estate, security services, and land surveying.
He holds academic qualifications from institutions including Lagos State University, IRGIB Africa University, and the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Presenting his agenda, he outlined a three-point focus on Accountability, Development, and Empowerment.Ewenla appealed for the support and mandate of the people of Alimosho, pledging to deliver effective representation and sustainable development if elected.
