The Oyo State Civil Service has honoured Mr. Oyewale Kolawole Akeem, a staff member in the Office of the First Lady, for his outstanding performance, efficiency, and dedication to service.
The recognition was given
during the 2025 Public Service Week and Merit Award Ceremony held at the House of Chiefs, Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan.
While addressing the award recipients, Governor Seyi Makinde praised Oyewale and other honourees for their commitment to excellence.
He urged them not to relent in their efforts, noting that their dedication continues to strengthen the public service.
The Governor encouraged other civil and public servants across the state to emulate the exemplary work ethic of the awardees and strive for similar recognition in future editions.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare and well-being of the workforce and commended their continuous dedication to the growth and progress of Oyo State.
In his remarks after receiving the award, Oyewale Kolawole expressed gratitude to the organizers for acknowledging his contributions.
