Alternative Bank Donates Critical Medical Equipment to Oyo State Hospitals

The Alternative Bank Plc has donated some hospital equipments to Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board(OYSHMB) as part of its contribution towards sustainable healthcare delivery of Engr. Oluseyi Makinde FNSE and to provide qualitative healthcare services to the good people of Oyo State.
Speaking during the handling over of the equipments at the State Secretariat Agodi,Ibadan,the chairman of the board Dr. Akin Fagbemi the board is saddled with the responsibility to oversee over 50 health facilities within the state and those hospitals cut across the local government areas in the state.
He commended the Alternative Bank Plc for the intervention at a time when the state health sector is moving to another level.
Dr. Fagbemi recalled that the government of Engr. Oluseyi Makinde FNSE just concluded Omi-Tuntun Free Health Mission across the 33 local government areas of the state.
He appreciated The Alternative Bank for partners with Oyo state saying government cannot do it alone and it requires more hands to move the state to greater height.
He added the state government and the board is ready to partners with any individual, corporate organisation and non government organisations who will contribute positively to the development of the state.
The team leader of the bank Mr. Ajisafe Mustapha said The Alternative Bank focused on 5 major sector of the economy mainly Health, Education, Agriculture,Renewable Energy and Transportation.
He emphasized that once those areas can be improved on there will be more productivity for the state to develop.
Mr. Ajisafe commended Engr. Oluseyi Makinde FNSE for bringing dividend of democracy to the good people of Oyo state and for changing the face of the whole state through developmental projects that cut across all the zones within the state.
Some of the equipments donated were 2 Oxygen Oncentrator,3 Nubeliser,5 Carton of Lidocaine Injection,3 Carton of Presdate Labetol Injection,10 Carton of Aventa Ringers Lactate Solution,10 Carton of Normal Saline Infusion 500ml,10 Carton of Normal Saline Infusion 1000ml,10 Salbutamol Nubules and 10 Carton of Unique 5% Dextrose in Water 500ml.
Present during the handing over were the chairman of the board Dr.Akin Fagbemi,the Director of Medical Services Dr. Femi Adesanya,the director of Admin and Supplies Mr Timothy Adebayo,the director of Finance and Accounts Alh. Tanimowo Akeem and the director of Personell Alh. Jamiu Busari while on the part of The Alternative Bank were the team leader Mr. Ajisafe Mustapha,the Head,Health and Education Mr. Ayodele Bolaji,the Relationship Manager Mrs. Rofiat Badmus and Miss. Ufuoma Emiemie.
