Rayfield Gardens City Estate wins Gate Africa Estate Cup 2024
Rayfield Gardens City Estate, located in Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala GRA, has emerged as the champion of the 2024 Gate Africa Estate Cup. The competition, which featured eight top estates in Ibadan, including Kolapo Ishola GRA, Aerodrome GRA, and Olubadan Estate, among others.
Rayfield Gardens City Estate’s journey to victory began with a 2-0 win over Alalubosa Estate in the opening match. The team then defeated Goshen Estate 4-1 in the semi-finals, setting the stage for a thrilling final match against Olubadan Estate, which led to a 2 to nil with Rayfield emerging as the winner.
The Gate Africa Estate Cup 2024 was organized by Gate Africa Technology, a platform that regulates access control, management, and payment processing for estates across Africa. The competition aimed to foster relationships among estates in Oyo State and promote community development.
The team coordinator, Mr. Deji Ola, expressed gratitude to his team for their impressive performance, urging them to maintain their spirit for future competitions. He also thanked the organizers, Gate Africa Technology, for promoting community and estate development in Ibadan.
