Oyo State PDP Felicitates Muslims at Eid Adha, Congratulates Gov Seyi Makinde

… Offers Prayers for the Continued Growth and Prosperity of the Pacesetter State.

The leadership of the ruling party in Oyo State, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the Muslim faithful on this year’s occasion of Eid Adha celebration.

In the release made by the State Chairman of the PDP in Oyo State, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro and made available to journalists in Ibadan, the ruling party appreciated the Muslim faithful for ensuring that there is religious tolerance and harmony in Oyo State and actors who thrive in chaos has no enterprise in Oyo State.

The Leadership of the PDP also appreciated the Muslim faithful for their believe and support for the Party over the years and assures them that the PDP will always work hard to be the bride of the electorates. The Party also uses the Eid Adha celebration to appeal for supports for the recently Inaugurated local government chairmen in Oyo State in their quest to replicate the good governance model of Governor Seyi Makinde in their respective local government areas.

The chairman in his statement also congratulated the Governor of Oyo State who is the leader of the party in the South West geopolitical zone of Nigeria and the vice chairman, Nigerian Governors Forum, quoting his words, he said “The Party wants to congratulate the Governor on the occasion of this year’s Eid-adha and prays that next year, Oyo State will experience exponential and phenomenal growth at all levels”

Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro also used the release to admonished adherents of Islamic religion to use the occasion of the season to pray for Oyo State PDP and the Oyo State as an entity to continue to grow in leaps and bounds and also pray against disasters and unforeseen negative circumstances.

The keadership of the party also remains very resolute and committed to building a party that will be for all regardless of religion, tribe and ethnicity.
