Oyo Commissioner For Trade, Otunba Demola ‘Ijaya’ Mourns Death Of Two Prominent Ibarapa PDP Leaders

Oyo state Commissioner for Trade, Investment and Cooperatives, Otunba Demola Ojo has expressed grief and sadness over the death of two prominent chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Solomon Ogunjinmi, a PDP Chieftain in Ibarapa North Local Government and Chief Olayiwola Gabriel Adetoyese popularly called ‘Layi BaaleBaale.

The Commissioner expressed his grief in a statement on Thursday morning, describing the duo’s demise as a monumental loss to Ibarapaland PDP in the geopolitical zone.

Ijaya as the Commissioner is fondly called said even though there was no better time to lose loved ones, it was an ultimate and inevitable journey all humans must embark upon when its God’s time.

While commiserating with the bereaved families, the Commissioner equally prayed God grant them the fortitude to bear the pain of the departed.

Westernmirror.com.ng had earlier reported that the two Ibarapa political leaders died between January 30 and 31, both within 24hrs.

Chief Solomon Ogunjinmi was a former Executive Chairman of ibarapa North Local Government, a former PDP Senatorial District chairman and a current member, Oyo State Civil Service Commission.

While Chief Layi Baale was a former Oyo South PDP Senatorial Chairman, a former SA Political Matters to late Governor Adebayo Alao Akala and the immediate past member of Oyo State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency, RUWASA.

“The loss of these leaders has not only left a void in our great political party, the PDP, but has also left huge impact in the hearts of the entire family, community, Ibarapaland, and of course, our great party.

“Their contributions have been instrumental in promoting socio-economic and political development, social cohesion, and sustainable governance in our geopolitical zone. It is evident that these leaders were widely respected and admired for their leadership qualities and commitment to serving the welfare of people of Ibarapaland

“With their passing, there is no doubt a high sense of grief especially within our political family as their vision and strategic approaches cannot be easily replicated or replaced but we can not question God, therefore, we submit to His ultimate will, and pray the bereaved families get the grace to bear the pain of their exit from this sinful world.” The Commissioner said.
