2019 Accord Guber Candidate, Ajadi Throws Weight Behind Naira Notes Redesigned, Commends President Buhari For Fight Against Corruption

Following the crisis rocking naira swap, the 2019 Accord party gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, Saheed Adegboyega Ajadi has asked Nigerians to remain positive as the policy by the government is meant for revamping the economy.

Ajadi stated this while addressing Journalists on the paucity of Naira inflicted on Nigerians by the Central Bank of Nigeria on Naira Redesign note.

Ajadi said that the Nation have all the resources to turn around the situation of the country noting that if the Naira is channel to the appropriate place which the federal is trying to put in place.

He noted that the only solution to Nigeria problem is to be patriotic and show love to each other stressed that with the population of Nigeria, the country can survive economically with African synergy with a right mindset.

Ajadi further condemned Former Nigeria president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for the way he privatized some of the nation asset during his reign but give kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari for bringing back some of the asset which in the later time Nigerians benefit from this policy.

He added that though Nigerians are suffering but in the nearest future, people will benefit from what President Muhammadu Buhari has done for the country.

Ajadi stated that “Am here to thank Federal government, most importantly am here to thank President Muhammad Buhari, we have to glorify God that we ha leader that is formidable, we have a leader that has integrity, we have a leader that has compassion, we have a leader that want to leave a track record of sustainability, development and most importantly we have a leader that is very patriotic.

“I love this country and love president Muhammad Buhari.

“Nigerians must know the reality of the situation of what we find ourselves to chat a way forward for ourselves.

“We glorify God for giving our president the understanding to see through what has happened last four to Eight years to be able to chronicle what brought us to situation we are in today.

“We know that president Muhammad Buhari has just woken up because that is why we are seeing the reaction we are in today.

“We are glad that in the last couple of months we are now in the right part of development in Nigeria.

“Nigeria gotten to democracy in 1999, some of us fought for hope 1993 where we just left University.

“We know who are the followers and the leader, who benefited from politics of that struggle.

“Democracy is not just won, some people lost their lives for us to be here today.

“I worked with federal government and I resigned my appointment under Atiku Abubabakar and President Olusegun Obasanjo administration and I went into politics, why I was disappointed because we sacrificed our youth.

“I realized that we are going to be in the situation we are in today, Seventeen to Eighteen years ago but nobody saw it.

“And that is why am thanking President Muhammad Buhari for doing this before he leave office, so that people can know that we did not go to school for nothing.

“It is all about intellect and so we are ready to prove intellect, intellectual revolution.

“It is not by gun or by fighting, no that is why am here, there is no need to burn anywhere, yes people are hungry, we are all hungry but the realities is that who put us in this mess?

“How did we get here?

“For instance kidnapping have stopped, industrial kidnapping had stopped surprisingly why?

“Because people cannot pay ransom anymore, people do not have previous currencies that is intellectual, banditry had stopped.

“I paid in Nigeria currency, I buy and sell good and services in the December beans in Maiduguri.

‘Guru’ was Thirty-five thousand to bring it to Lagos you will end up paying Thirty-eight to Forty thousand naira as I speak with you today ‘Guru’ in January of 25th beans was at Twenty thousand naira today in Zamfara beans is Fifteen thousand naira if you have cash why that is pure economics according to O. A Lawal form 4 Economics.

“Not the likes of Soludo of Okonjo Iweala’s of Professorship No O.A Lawal a product of Nigeria.

“We have what it takes to turn around Nigeria because we don’t yet need the diaspora to come and teach us how to govern Nigeria they sold us out why did we pay twenty dollars and now the Brentwood company paid back to President Muhammad Buhari for four years to govern Nigeria when the crude oil had crash.

“When President Muhammad Buhari came 2015 how much is Brentwood, how much did we benchmark our budget?

“How did we sustain democracy for four years?

“It was some people that paid that said that we are going to cancel our debt Twenty billion naira, give me Twenty billion of that kind of resources and reside that twenty billion in Nigeria, I don’t need Eight years to turn around Nigeria but President Muhammad Buhari paid back those money in trenches and he paid back to governor’s.

“We have the fact and the exact figure paid to each state yet we complain.

“How did we get to situation we are in today?

“Who printed the Two hundred note, who printed the five hundred Naira note and One thousand note?

“Do we actually need such bills my question and answer is No, we don’t need such bill in Nigeria.

“Ask me why, you said we should go cashless why do we then need big bill when we are cashless.

“I can transfer to the next man in five seconds, so why do I need to carry thousand naira bill, it called galloping inflation according to O.A Lawal form 4.

“So CBN doing it responsibility by changing note is not an aberration, however the time factor, we have been given four months to change your currency, if you don’t have skeleton in your cupboard I don’t see any reason why you have to hoarding a thousand naira note that is impoverishing and making us into penury.

“Those bills are to be scrap completely if you ask me.

“Why do I need to cash bills? Except I want to steal, except I want to be corrupt, except I want to steal your money, I don’t need such bills but if I want to buy garri which we were buying at Three Naira a cup, a Kongo before President Olusegun Obasanjo administration to tell us to be selling to Chinese people Cassava and garri food from Twenty naira to Two hundred Naira, how much is that Garri right now?

“Is that President Muhammad Buhari?

President Muhammad Buhari and CBN gave farmers Nine and Sixty five Billion Naira to plant rice for Nigeria.

“We saw the harvest, we saw the pyramids, where is the rice?

“If you ask me people have more than the rice with Nigeria money how much can the President he has given you more before an opportunity to domesticate our food production, what do we get?

“Because they have not move the funds to the farmers, they have the excess funds to play around with, they don’t know what to do with fund.

“But I will teach them what to do with money, so we can domesticate this funds and tell you that we have enough resources to turn around Nigeria, if we don’t steal, if we love each other.

“We need to live each other, we need to be patriotic.

“Going away from Nigeria we only give us the opportunity to change Nigeria when you come back you are to queue because we are patriotic, we are not going anywhere, we are not going to be slave of anybody anymore.

“Intellectually, economically, Nigeria can survive with the African synergy, we don’t need Brentwood company, there is nobody that take Brentwood loan and get out of it, it is trap for economy slavery.

“The population of Nigeria is our asset, we have the resources to be able to use that population to produce.

“Our Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Atiku Abubabakar did Privatization, we sold Ajaokuta, but President Muhammad Buhari has bought it back.

“We have our asset back, do you know what that mean? That is turn around of Nigeria, they said it was not possible, but it is possible.

“They collected money for second Niger Bridge, Eighteen Month, we have a second Niger Bridge, we have record of all this thing but what we are saying now is that generation is a wasted generation.

“So they need to handover power to the generation that is still sleeping that does not know that it is time for them to wake-up, which is between Thirty-five and Sixty-five years old.

“Unfortunately, that generation is also a wasted generation of Nigeria because the people that are still ruling us started from Twenty five years of age and now we are living wrong gap to another to old age without doing anything about Nigeria.

“We are not going to sit back, we are going to intellectually, revolutionize Nigeria and that is the reason I organized this press conference.

“Yes we are suffering but we would laugh, Nigerians will benefit more on what President Muhammad Buhari has done in the future.

“Because the One thousand Naira note is a ruin to our economy that is why you don’t have sweet at One Kobo, at One Naira, we don’t have biscuits at Two naira because we don’t spend coins.

“Why can you be in an economy without coins?

“We grew up spending coins, I was suppose to give up size of my coins from my own back yard because you say we should give to ballot, I was pained and I was weeping for Nigeria because people don’t understand lack of coins.

“Lack of coins means you are going to be inflated that is where we are today, that is why we are buying biscuits at the rate of hundred Naira.

“Because we have what it takes to turn around Nigeria, my question to you is are you actually ready to turn around Nigeria?

“It is Nigerians that us killing Nigerians, why are we hoarding bills?

“Hoarding paper, the old naira is paper, what is telling you is that your resources is nothing without the Bill, that is why the price is rising.

“Because is too much bill is into few Naira, that has crashed the prize.

“Give us the opportunity we will change Nigeria.

“Nigeria will change if we start to love ourselves, the scarcity now will help us because the price of tomatoes has crashed in Mile 12 Lagos.

“However the timing of changing the naira is the issue not that changing the Naira is not good which is causing problem because you think it is political yes, he said.
