Omo A’jorosun President, Chief Alli, wife bag chieftaincy titile as Apesin Ola of Iroko

The Oniroko of Iroko-land, Oba Olasunkanmi Opeola, Ikurumiloju 1, has installed the president of Omo Aj’orosun Chief Abiola Alli as the Apesin Ola of the land alongside his wife.

The installation ceremony held at the palace of the Monarch amidst traditional rulers, Government officials and well wishers.

While speaking on the modalities of the selection process, the reverred Monarch stated that developmental strides were examined before the choice of the new chief as he offered prayers for more progress.

Going down memory lane, Oba Opeola revealed that he attended a program in which Governor Seyi Makinde was requested to accord the Oyo Traditional councils their yearnings over-which the Oyo Governor deposited traditional duties to the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Lekan Balogun.

He however admonished the new chief to continue executing progressive efforts for the pace-setter.

In his response, the Apesin-Ola of Iroko-land, promised to deploy more efforts in promoting traditional stool as he also advised chiefs to respect one another over occurrences of Chiefs sacked in Ibadan and Bauchi state over disrespect to higher authorities.
