Security challenges: Ex-SDP guber candidate Ayorinde lauds Makinde’s initiative over Amotekun

The 2019 Oyo state Social Democratic party (SDP) gubernatorial candidate, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde SAN has lauded governor Seyi makinde for joining other Southwest governor’s to Initiate of the South Security Network, codenamed ‘Amotekun’ that has reduced the challenges of insecurity in the region to the bearest minimum.
The commendation was made while the former gubernatorial candidate was addressing Journalist on challenges confronting the state and the country.
Chief Ayorinde commended governor makinde and his counterpart from Ondo state, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu for championing the Amotekun course to inorder to mitigate insecurity challenges confronting the southwestern region of the country.
He further described the invention of Amotekun as a major achievements for the present administration which is evident in states where they are been supported and operating.
Chief Ayorinde stated that “We must commend the governor’s of the Southwest in the past few years, my governor, governor Seyi makinde and Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu my senior.
“We have seen the way they have championed some of this courses like the Amotekun issue, if they are not determined it would never happened because there was a challenged by the federal government but because they knew what they are doing, they are focused, today Amotekun has come to stay.
“That is a major achievements and you see the state where Amotekun is operating where they are have been giving support by their governor’s particularly Oyo state and Ondo state.
“Those states have become relatively safe which means that the whole project has to success, he said.
