Arapaja Hails Makinde over Commissioning of Akobo flyover bridge

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for constructing and dualising the 7.2 kilometre Idi-Ape Bashorun-Akobo-Odogbo road and the general gas flyover.
Ambassador Arapaja gave the commendation in a release issued on his behalf by his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim while reacting to the commissioning of the said projects which was performed by the outgoing Ekiti State Governor, Engr. Kayode Fayemi in Ibadan yesterday.
Ambassador Arapaja stated that this effort by Governor Makinde to further strengthen the road networks across the State has shown that the Governor is not toying with the lives of the citizens in the State and this is the reason why his administration is striving to ensure safe and secured roads in every nooks and crannies of the State.
He added that the 7.2 km Idi Ape-Basorun-Akobo-Odogbo Barracks Road dualisation and the General Gas Flyover projects just commissioned has no doubt brought permanent relief to the commuters and those that are plying it from the harrowing experience and nightmare they were having before, stressing that it will also improve the economic growth of the state and make it attractive to investors and tourists both locally and internationally.
Ambassador Arapaja, however, enjoined the People of the State to reciprocate the good gesture of Governor Makinde by re-electing him for second term in order to continue to enjoy the good governance in the State.
