The Chairman Inner wheel Nigeria, district 913, Mrs. Ojoele-Ayoola Sherifat Bolatito has disclosed plans to present occupational tools worth six million naira to 63 youths that had undergone trainings in different vocations, on Tuesday 24th of May at the club’s house Bodija, Ibadan.
The free training and empowerment scheme which is a maiden edition district 913 covering Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara and Kogi State, according to Mrs. Ojoele-Ayoola was flagged off on the 22nd March with about 80 participants but only 63 that were diligent during the training are the ones qualified for the empowerment.
The beneficiaries includes 22 youths that have undergone training Catering and food management eight in Make-up and Gele tying, 14 boys in Phone Repairing Techniques, 14 in Household Productions, two in Beads Making and three in Event’s Decoration will be presented with vocational tools materials to kick-start the business.
“A member who is a chartered accountant is also presently taking them on financial management training which will enable them to profitably manage their businesses after the empowerment exercises so the business can survive”, said the Inner Wheel boss.
Mrs. Ojoele-Ayoola in her remarks ahead of the presentation disclosed that she has seen her dreams manifesting immediately in the trainees because they’ve been making money even during training period.
“I like to share the grace with people and that is what I am beginning to see right in these youths. The essence of living is to touch lives, so I’ am happy doing what I am doing because I have been touching lives in my little ways before joining inner wheel”, She added.
