Security: Egbeda LG boss presents operational vehicles to Police, vigilantes

The Executive chairman Egbeda local government on Tuesday handed over Operational Vehicle fully equipped with communication gadgets to security agencies to curb insecurity challenges at the local government.

Sanda while handing over to the agencies, promised that his administration would continue to prioritize the welfare of security personnel serving at the local government.

The National Daily news reports that handing over was done at the frontage of the Egbeda local government.

The vehicle was donated to a unit of Nigeria Police force and renovated Alabebe Police station, one of the police station at the Local government, while 10 motorbikes was donated to the indigenous security agencies and also donated two power generating set to Gbagi and Iyana-Ofa police station.

The chairman further averred that his administration would remian committed to supporting police officers and security personnel at the local government.

In his remark, the Divisional police officer, CSP Ehindero appreciated the chairman for the gesture.

Ehindero promised that the police at the local government would sustain the security status of the local government and provide conducive atmosphere for the local government.
