Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has called on citizens to pray for healing and cleansing of Nigeria.
Makinde, who was speaking at the close of a four-day crusade by Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, also stated that the state was blessed to have hosted the four-day event without a hitch.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that the crusade was hosted by the Christ for All Nations Ministries, headed by Evangelist Kolenda.
Makinde, while speaking at the Crusade, held at the Arcedem Ground, Iwo Road, Ibadan, said that it was about time the people began to pray for the healing and cleansing of the country.

“This is the time to heal our land, the time to look up unto God to rescue Nigeria, and rescue his people,” the governor said.

He added:
“Let me specially welcome again the Presiding Minister of Christ For All Nations Ministries, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, and his wife.
“Well, when they came to me, they said after the passage of Evangelist Bonkey, the first crusade they are having outside of the United States of America, I believe, is here in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Are we blessed or not? We are blessed! Is Oyo State blessed or not? We are indeed blessed!
” I looked through the programme and I saw where they wrote ‘prayers for Oyo State’, ‘prayer for Ibadan’. In the midst of all our challenges you have been here for the past three days.
“This is the fourth day and not only have you been going home with miracles but have also been praising and worshiping God in an atmosphere that is safe and secure.
“So, on behalf of the government and good people of Oyo State, I want to thank the Local Organizing Committee, the CAN, the PFN and all the people involved in this.
“So, in closing, I want to say to the team from all over the world that when next you want to have another crusade in Ibadan, in Oyo State, we are ready, we are willing and we are able.”
