The former governorship aspirant of the Advanced Allied Party in the 2019 governorship election in Oyo State, Reverend Adenike Victor-Tade, popularly known as Mama empowerment, has empowered 40 youths.

The event which took place at the Oluyole Metropolitan Baptist Church, Ring Road, Ibadan, had in attendance crème de la crème from all works of life.

Reverend Adenike Tade who had earlier flagged off #500 million entrepreneurship fund for the youths in Nigeria, impacted the lives of 40 youths in Oyo state and made them independent.

in her speech, while empowering the 40 youths, Mama empowerment said the help rendered to the youths was in line with her vision to cushion the negative effects of unemployment, poverty, crime, and other deviant behaviors among the youths in Nigeria.

According to her “I believe giving the youth needed training and adding values to their lives will indeed groom them into the leaders of tomorrow.”

She said further “the major driver of crime in Nigeria is unemployment; but with entrepreneurship, our youths can remain engaged and job opportunities will boom in the country.”

Mama empowerment who maintained that she has been empowering youths for years, especially with her annual program themed ‘Olorun Ajulo’, stressed no political ambition behind her empowerment.

She, however, called on well meaning Nigerians to look after the leaders of tomorrow and support them where necessary.

In his speech, Mr. Victor Tade Olugbenga, Husband of Mama empowerment, said it is very important for the youths to have mentors and role models who could lead them aright.

He added that that many talents are wasting away and plying destructive routes for they have no helper.

He, however, called on the Nigerian youths to remain firm and follow their dream in life and shun destructive side attractions.

Intending entrepreneurs at the event, Otubodun Damilola, Ajibade Beatrice, Festus Oyeniyi and others who double as beneficiaries of the Ultimate Total Life Concepts empowerment, appreciated Mama Empowerment for giving them necessary skills, tools to work with, and required connection needed to make it in life.

Reverend Adenike, who also used the event to organize prayers for the Nigerian youths, said he had committed the empowerment into the hands of God and she was glad seeing it becoming a reality.

In her message to the members of the public, “admissions into our higher institutions without corresponding job creation has resulted to mass unemployment in Nigeria.”

“The trend is already having negative effects on the society such as crime, untold hardship, and poverty. This is of great concern to me and I must say it is what has given me the vision for this project just to think of way out.” Mama Empowerment said.
