PDP group carpets Oyelese for asking Makinde to retrace step on Atiku

A group within the Peoples Democratic Party has berated Elder Wole Oyelese for calling on the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr Seyi Makinde to retrace his steps over his opposition to the presidential flagbearer of the Party in the 2023 poll, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar .

The group, National Equity Group in a release signed by its Secretary General Fredrick Samson said Oyelese should save his ahitophel’s advice to himself because he lacks the moral virtues to proffer advice to a true advocate of justice, Equity and fairplay like Engr Seyi Makinde.

To set the record straight, Makinde does not bear a personal grudge against Atiku Abubakar or the Peoples Democratic Party as a whole, but the northern agenda to usurp every positions and benefits at the detriment of the southern Zone is untenable.

That is the position of Engr Seyi Makinde Whereas, Oyelese is an acolyte of the northern agenda, and he is doing their bidding.

This same Oyelese ran into trouble in 2001, when he referred to the late high Chief Lamidi Adedibu as a “political accident “ , just because he did not enjoy largess from the garrison commander of Oyo politics as he used to get Adedibu made him to smell pepper the rest is history.

Oyelese has an antecedent of playing villainous roles against his people all in the name of money and other benefits.

He is reknown for attacking his principals when he is broke Hence, it is either Oyelese himself is a “political accident “ or an “accident of history “.
This is Oyelese, who accepted to be a minister under the late dictator, General Sanni Abacha during the inglorious regime of the military junta. In those days when no illustrious yoruba son has anything to do with the blood sucking head of state under whom the hero of our democracy, Chief M. K. O. Abiola was killed. Majority of the Afeniferes fled the country while some were killed extrajudicially and lots more were incarcerated in Nigerian Prisons.

Oyelese would wine and dine with the devil when money is assured. Let us ask him, how many times has he contested elections in Oyo state?? The only time he won a primary was through Engr Seyi Makinde in Social Democratic Party, and it is Makinde who raised his hand up to endorse his candidature as the flagbearer.

Oyelese is groaning under the strong curse place on him and three others who served under General Sanni Abacha, the de facto junta who killed Chief M.K.O Abiola. That curse subsist till today and is trailing Oyelese and the rest everywhere they go out of the other three, one has died ( late Dr. Olu Onagoruwa), and the other two ( Mrs Bolaji Osomo and Ebenezer Babatope) have gone into political oblivion while alive.

We advise Oyelese to seek the face of God in prayer and fasting, possibly he could be forgiven by God for his treachery to the Yoruba nation.
