Idris Ajimobi mourns Aseyin, condoles with people of Iseyin

The Ibadan South West Constituency II candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Aare Akogun Muslumi of Oyo State, Hon. Idris Abolaji Abiola-Ajimobi has condoled with the people of Iseyin over the death of the monarch, Oba (Dr.) Abdulganiy Salawudeen Adekunle Oloogunebi (Ajinese 1), Aseyin of Iseyin. He described the passing away of the monarch as another great loss to Yorubaland.
His message was contained in a statement issued by his media aide and made available to journalists in Ibadan on Sunday night.
The statement reads:
“The news of the death of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Abdulganiy Salawudeen Adekunle Oloogunebi came to me as a rude shock.
“The late Ajinese 1 was a great father to many of us. His leadership qualities and styles would be great missed.
“As the Chairman of the Conference of Oke-Ogun Obas and Chiefs, the Aseyin provided qualitative leadership. He was extremely passionate about the development of Oke-Oke-Ogun, Oyo State and Yorubaland”.
“The first-class monarch’s death is another great loss to Yorubaland. The late Ajinese’s indelible fatherly roles in Oke-Ogun and Oyo State would be solely missed”.
“I extend my solemn condolences to the Aseyin Royal families, the Aseyin-In-Council, the Conference of Oke-Ogun Obas and Chiefs; the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs; the Yoruba traditional council, the people of Oke-Ogun and Oyo State. Also, I commiserate with the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola, Barr. Ahamed Raji (SAN) over the loss of this first class monarch.
“May Almighty Allah Forgive his shortcomings and Grant him Aljanah Fridauz”.
