Bibire Supports Odo Ona Flood Victims Donates Bags Of Rice to The Communities

Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro popularly known as BIBIRE has donated bags of rice to the victims of flood at Odo Ona Apata area of ward 12, Ibadan South West Local Government.
Bibire, as part of his philanthropic gesture donated support items to alleviate the hardship of the affected residents.
It would be rẹcalled that the Odo Ona and its environ is prone to perennial flooding especially during heavy rainfall.
The flood, which as a result of heavy downpour last week Tuesday night to early hours Wednesday which overflowed from the Odo Ona river to the nearby houses, caused the residents to flee for safety. The affected areas are; Kuole, Akako and Oke Ayo areas .
Hon. Fagbenro urged all the affected residents close to the riverbank as well as those still occupying the houses marked for demolition to vacate the area as life is more precious than wealth.
In their response, the community leaders of the affected area expressed their appreciation to Hon.Fagbenro (BIBIRE) and prayed that God Almighty will continue to bless him for his contribution to the community through medical outreaches, Business Supports, covid-19 donations to schools, feeding the aged to mention but few, while also soliciting for government intervention to dredge the river amongst other community needs.
Properties worth millions of Naira were damaged but no life was lost to the havoc.
Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro (Bibire) further called on all well meaning Nigerians, NGOs, corporate bodies, public office holders and the government at all levels to come to the aids of the victims “….ẹnikẹni ti iwo bani ipa láti ṣe iranlowo fun, ohùn ná lè ni keji rẹ tojú re”.
