Oyo 2023: Accord Party Chieftain, Ajadi Declares Governorship Ambition

A chieftain of the Accord Party, Alhaji Saheed Adegboyega Ajadi has officially declared his intention to contest the 2023 governorship election in Oyo State on the party’s platform.

Declaring his ambition during a press conference on Sunday in Ibadan, Ajadi, who has been in the Accord party for over a decade, promised to achieve victory for the party.

The gubernatorial hopeful, while lamenting that the PDP- led government in the state had not done anything with the huge resources of Oyo State, promised to change the narrative of leadership.

The Accord party chieftain further promised to make his impact felt in all sectors, whether transport, health, education, and so on, noting that Oyo state is richly blessed to take care of its affairs.

The governorship aspirant, who took time to assess governor Seyi Makinde’s led administration in Oyo state, described the governor as an intern in governance and administration of resources.

He also rated the governor very low, in terms of infrastructure development and policymaking.

Ajadi noted that having served the global community, he is now poised to serve and develop Oyo state.

He, however, called on the Oyo state citizens to go and get their over 700 thousand permanent voters’ cards that are currently with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, so as to prepare themselves better for the 2023 general elections.
