Manchester United Could End Sponsorship Deal with Russian Airline Aeroflot

By Ogundele Olanrewaju

Manchester United are unwilling to renew their sponsorship agreement with Russian airline Aeroflot following Russia’s military attack on Ukraine.

Aeroflot has been one of the main sponsors of the Red Devils since 2013 and the current deal between the two parties runs until the summer of 2023.

Under normal circumstances, Manchester United would try to renegotiate the deal within a year before it expires. However, due to the situation in Eastern Europe, the club’s Board of Directors are contemplating to terminate the deal and reach an agreement with another airline.
