The Lagos State chapter of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has commenced strategic engagements ahead of the 2027 general elections, with Local Government and Local Council Development Area (LCDA) chairmen meeting with the party’s senatorial and House of Representatives candidates.

The meeting, according to the party, was aimed at charting a common direction and strengthening its mobilisation efforts ahead of the elections.

The engagement brought together APM chairmen across the local governments and LCDAs in Lagos State alongside the party’s candidates for the National Assembly elections.

The party described the meeting as an important step towards consolidating its structures and ensuring effective coordination among its leaders and candidates ahead of the 2027 polls.

The APM also reaffirmed its determination to mobilise voters across Lagos State and secure massive support for its preferred candidates in the presidential and governorship elections.

According to the party, its campaign will focus on mobilising support for its presidential ticket of Seyi Makinde and Daura, as well as its Lagos State governorship candidate, Laja Adeoye.

The party said its leadership and candidates would continue to work together to strengthen its grassroots structures and position the APM for a strong performance in the 2027 elections.
