Olubadan Installs Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi as Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, ARUSA I, on Friday officially installed the Okanlomo Oódua, Chief (Engr.) Dr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, as the Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The historic installation ceremony took place at the Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan, where the revered monarch elevated Chief Sanusi to the prestigious title of Gbonka Olubadan alongside other distinguished chiefs on the Civil Line of the Olubadan Chieftaincy.

The elevation marks another significant milestone in Chief Sanusi’s traditional journey and further acknowledges his unwavering commitment to the development of Ibadanland, his exceptional philanthropy, and his immense contributions to the socio-economic advancement of Oyo State and Nigeria.
