Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) has disclosed that the online application and submission of forms for its recruitment exercise has ended last week Friday 28th January, 2022 marking the end of the first phase of the exercise.
This was disclosed on Monday by the Executive Chairman Oyo State Road Management, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi while addressing journalists at the Administrative Headquarters of the Agency, Agodi, Ibadan.
Fagbemi who lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for granting approval for the agency to recruit more traffic officers to be able to meet the recent population increase the state has witnessed in recent months owing to the governor’s sterling performance assured that only the applicants that meets the requirements would be shortlisted and promised that the process would be devoid of political interference.
Fagbemi further explained that the recruitment exercise would be in two phases and promised that whenever the first phase of the recruitment end, the next phase would commence immediately.
He urged applicants that have duly applied for the recruitment exercise to anticipate communication for the phase of the exercise.
The statement read: “we are using this medium to inform prospective applicants that the online application window has elapsed and so is the submission of forms. However, this only marks the first phase of the recruitment process as the Authority shall commence the next phase immediately. We can assure you that only applicants that meets the requirements would be shortlisted and the process would be devoid of political interference. We shall recruit the best of the best in a transparent process in tandem with the provisions of our enabling laws.
As we all know, one of the ethos of the Oyo State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde is open-mindedness, transparency and fairness. We will not do anything different from that as the entire process would be transparent. We implore applicants that have duly applied to kindly anticipate communication for the next phase of the exercise. It is important we reiterate however that the first phase which is the online application and submission of forms has elapsed since Friday, 28th January, 2022”, Dr. Fagbemi said.
