Makinde Meets APM Leaders Behind Closed Doors

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is currently in a closed-door meeting with leaders and key stakeholders of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), who arrived from Abuja earlier today amid moves to formally decamp to the party.

The meeting, holding at Governor’s residence in Ibadan, is part of ongoing political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Sources say the delegation comprises prominent figures within the APM, engaged in high-level discussions with the governor on the modalities and implications of their planned defection.
