OYSHMB Partners SWAN to Provide Free Medical Services to People

The Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN) Ibadan chapter has partnered with the Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board (OYSHMB) to provide free healthcare services to the people of Ibadan and Oyo State.
This collaborative effort aims to promote health awareness, support individuals with limited access to quality healthcare, and provide free medical services.
According to Mrs. Sileola Akinbowale, chairperson of SWAN Ibadan and district secretariat, the organization is committed to making a positive impact on the community.
She solicited support from the OYSHMB, requesting essential medication and medical personnel to ensure the success of the outreach program.
In his remark, the Chairman Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr.Akin Fagbemi emphasizing the board’s commitment to providing sustainable healthcare delivery to the people of Oyo State.
He pledged the board’s support for SWAN’s initiative, within the limits of their capacity.
The Chairman also advised SWAN to submit their request in writing for formal approval.
The OYSHMB’s director of Finance and Accounts, Alhaji Akeem Tanimowo, expressed gratitude to SWAN for their efforts and encouraged them to continue their community health and development initiatives.
The meeting was attended by key stakeholders, including Dr. Fagbemi, Alhaji Tanimowo, and Mrs. Akinbowale.
