Amidst the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) crisis at the National, The Oyo State People’s Democraric Party (PDP) has reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty and support to Governor Seyi Makinde and his leadership of the party.
The support which is crucial in advancing the party’s interest and serving the people of Oyo state.
The statement was the resolution of the party Working Committee meeting held today at the party Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan and release to the press by the Acting Public Relations Officer of the party, Hon. Michael Ogunsina emphasizing the party’s determination to move forward together.
The party commended Governor Makinde for his unwavering support to the current set of PDP state executives, his commitment to the party’s growth and success has been unshakable, and the party is grateful for his leadership.
The Party took the opportunity to express its heartfelt appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde, the leader of the PDP in the South-West Geo-Political Zone, for his timely support and encouragement.
The party further said that his leadership has been instrumental in boosting the party’s morale and prospects in Oyo state.
In a significant development, the party announced that simultaneous Senatorial Meetings will be held across the state on November 6, 2024.
The meetings will take place in three locations: Oyo North (Saki West Local Government), Oyo South (Ido Local Government), and Oyo Central (Oyo East Local Government).
The party urged Senatorial Chairmen to take the planning of these meetings seriously, ensuring their success.
The cooperation of all stakeholders is solicited to make these gatherings productive and fruitful.
The Oyo state PDP also expressed gratitude to its leaders, elders, political functionaries, and critical stakeholders for their support, motivation, and encouragementencouragement which their contributions have been vital to the party’s progress.
Furthermore, the party identified with Oyo State indigenes who have suffered under the maladministration and evil governance of the All Progressive Congress at the national level.
